Default RE: Speaking of pet peeves...no pun intended

As a dog owner I couldnt see myself hurting the dog. As a matter of fact, I believe you did not get the point of the post. This dog has ruined more than one good turkey hunt, on my private, posted land.
When I mentioned my crossbow I was planning on putting an apple on his head and scaring the crap out of him...not shooting him!

I have tried to catch this dog numerous times but by the time I get my blind unzipped he is long gone. I passed out a dozen flyers to homeowners in the area with his picture. I mentioned abandoned traps, my buddy that is near sighted, and the broken safety on his shotgun. Hopefully the owner will take responsibility.

As I said, I contacted the warden to find out my options. It looks like I need to trap it. I doubt the dog catcher is going to chase this mutt through 900 acres.

The point of the thread was to stress the importance of respecting others property. I put the words pet peeve in there for a reason. Dont you know where your dog(s) are? I know where mine is and its not a couple miles away chasing rabbits in the middle of someones turkey hunt!
