In my limited experience, I think 200 yards is a long, looooong way for a well hit deer to travel.Not one of the five deer I took last season madeit more than 50 yards. Seeing as how that was my first year bow hunting, that's about all I can contribute.

As to the moving shots..... I don't know. I know I can hit a moving target, but would I actually try it in a hunting scenario? No, I don't think so. Like you said, the conditions would have to be perfect.

One other question to solidify just how new to this bowhunting game I am....could you define "forcing the shot"?
