Congrats on a nice trip! I'm leaving the 28th for a six day trip to north central KS. I also drew a tag in Iowa this year. I've been lucky enough to hunt all over the country,and this midwest swing is my absolute favorite. Through trial and error,I've discovered that waiting untill the end of April makes for a better hunt. Weather is rarely an issue,and the birds seem way more receptive. In addition,I rarely run into any other hunters. Tons of fun!
