More tedious process, but wont ever be greasy, smelly, rottin or anything like that. It will be this way for ever. My fan that I just preserved in Borax is starting to stink, and is extremely greasy to touch. But then again, Ive been using it alot for my pretty boy, which will take its toll on fans being out in the elements.
