RE: Excellent day with the GPR!
Went back out and fired 5 more shots, fired off beautifully with zero hangfires/flash in the pans.
I didnt take any pics, The target was good but not like before. For the barrel not being swabbed even after those first 11 shots, Accuracy on the last 5 was nothing to complain about!
I used a different ball this time. These were the softer lead "Stick a weight" Wheel weights that are slightly harder than my powerbelt lead. I was surprised to see that these shot exactly where i aimed rather than shooting low. I think with this ball and the 80g charge, i could be ok out to 70 yards.
On my last shot, i took my time and just nailed the 1" orange dot dead center! I called it quits after that.
The wind had picked up and it started to get cold with the slight breeze.
Having a real blast with this GPR. Finally enjoying it now!
Have my target all packed down with new sand, new target and am ready to go again the next time it is warmer out.
