FINALLY! I had my first excellent shooting session with the GPR. I had a couple flash in the pans when i was experimenting with the 4f charge and i ended up having to use a little over half a pan for the gun to go off istant. RMC liner has improved the rifles ability greatly.

All shots were at 58 yards with 80-90 and 100 grain charges of FFg Goex. I was sitting down on a log with my rifle also resting across a log "Hunting situation rest"

80 grain Load will be my Rendezvous shooting load for 50 yards, I will then use 100 grains for the 75 yard match "Shooting sticks allowed for 50 and 75 yard match"

All shots were with a Home Cast .530 round ball, these were all Wheel weight lead. Very hard! Two of them went right through my sand box with only 80 grains! Luckily i was able to recover them just a few feet behind the trap.

Rifle went off instant like a caplock which i am very thankful for. The 80 grain group it shot was just perfect for easy low powder charge shooting. Good deer hunting load too.

Almost forgot to mention i was using Ox-Yoke .015 Crisco Lubed patches and Zero swabbing between shots. Swabbing just aint no fun but i am going to try it the next time i take her out shooting just to see if it will make a difference.
