I shoot for a shop here in Illinois. My deal is with Hoyt. As tfox said, Hoyt gave the bow up at 50% off and the shop covered the other 50%. As far as requirements go, my relationship is pretty informal. Hoyt provided a few shirts and hats, the shop and their name and logos put on it them. I wear them when I go to 3D shoots, I guess it has helped them out a little. I have had guys talk to me about the shop while on the course and then found out latter that they stopped in. I shoot in all of my shops indoor leagues and have gotten some new shooters to start shooting there, so again, I guess it is helping them out. The only thing the shop owner asked of me was to help work a few shows for him and he does a customer appreciation day that he wants me to help out with also. I think it works out for both the shop and myself. Hell, I dropped another $300 in his shop last Wed night, I think that brings my 2008 total up near $1500 for the season, so he is making his money back out of me for sure.
