Hog hunting is a blast especially if you use a bow! It' s a great offseason fix when the hunting bug hits ya. Here in Texas we shoot a lot of hogs. In fact, I' m going out this weekend and hope to add another to the freezer.

In answer to your question, the smaller the hog the better the taste!

Adult sows taste better than Boars.

As far as cuts of meat, I keep the loins hole, keep a couple of hams and the rest goes into sausage.
