I hunt on public land where it is illegal to leave a stand up overnight...i have taken them down and left them at the base of their tree before...with a friendly note attached...There is one old stand that is grown into the tree that just happens to be in my favorite rifle hunting spot...so this year i sat in it for a while....
so you take other people,s stands down when they leave it over night,
but its ok for you to hunt in ones left longer???
so its ok as long as you can hunt from the stand.
if thats not the case why have you not taken that stand down too???
