Lanse, I agree: the terms "Sole Permission," "My Land," "Trespasser," and "Owner" are all subject to various interpretations. LOL

Quik, the way this thread is going those are going to fill up mighty fast. I think these will do it though:



I love how ownership of property or permission on property suddenly gives people entitlement to do whatever the hell they want. I don't care if it is your property, if it is not your stand you are stealing. If someone parks their car in your frontyard you can't hotwire it and take it for a joy ride.

These guys are scum bags that put stands up on property that isn't theirs, but to just take their stuff is wrong. Any time I have taken a stand down and left a note the stand has disappeared along with any trace of the owner.

I am in no way a goody two shoes, but stealing other people's stuff is just wrong. I've had things stolen from me and I know how rotten I felt even if it was my fault. I just can't bring myself to do it to someone else.

To each his own I guess.
