Why would he complain to the landowner? If the dogs were being turned out to run across the land he leased, hehad a legitimate complaint, but it should have been directed to the local CO. There is a reason for the hound study, the hunters abusing the RTR law are going to make life difficult for the other hunters using hounds. That small % trying to have it their way or no way, is on both sides of the fence.
The reason he complained to the landowner is because most of the land around him is rented by the same farmer. He actually did call the gw out 2 times but he knew he was full of crap like most of them. Im not saying that SOME hunters abuse the rights and laws but the way some of these guys talk its an everyday thing when its not. People (not just hunters but landowners) are getting tired of "I heard a dog a mile away... that guy must have turned out on me" sick and tired of it. I know it happens and its wrong but its not nowhere near as bad as some of these fools make it seem. They want to be able to go into the woods and not hear a dog anywhere, and if they do its automatic...... that dog must have been turned out with bad intentions. Believe it or not it is a small % of people who feel like some of these guys about hound hunting. The vdigf has to look into it. But if anyone thinks dog huntings days are numbered they are big time dreamers its laughable. The ones who do abuse the laws should not be aloud to hunt but neither should some of these antis making complete asses of themselves either! lol
