I like to eat trout, also, but it does not freeze well, in my opinion...
Freeze them whole like you caught just caught them and wrap them in a wet paper towel before putting them in the freezer and they will keep good for you..I also like to wrap a cover of suran wrap over the paper towel before putting in the freezer.
Thats interesting. Does the wet paper towel and saran wrap just help with insulating the trout for freezer burn and therefore lack of taste after?
