In a survival situation Schultzy, we can all probably do more than we think we can. The fact is though, we, as parents and mentors, should be passing this on to our children. It's like, we give them the best of what we can monetarily, and that becomes their nature. I, for one, would like these survival skills to be a gift to them that would be natural to them if they had to use it. You know, kinda like giving them a college education, so maybe they won't have to struggle as much as I have. Does that make sense?
