I remove the barrels from the stocks all the time. I also have my scopes with Warne QD rings. I take the scopes off and the barrel off. When I put it all back together there is not that much difference in the POI. I think that if you have a good rifle, with a solid stock, good bases and quality mounts, then there is not such a large impact to pull it all apart.
