Well from a person that is really new to bowhunting and shooting. Here is my take. My Dad owns the 06 ally and has a brand new 82nd. The 82nd has a really small valley(really small),but Ican drive nails with the 82nd and it is super fast and much quieter than the 06 ally. So, this past weekend I went to purchase a bow and shot the 08 ally and the 101st. Both bows are blazing fast, the ally was the store owners hunting setup. With 60 lb limbs, wisker biscuit, not sure of the arrow i was shooting cause I was paying more attention to the bow, he is getting 288 fps. But after I shoot the 101st it just felt better to me. It was smooth and very quiet, where as I found the 82nd's draw not to be as smooth. I also looked at the matthews but they just didn't drive the arrow like the bowtech's did.

Basically it came down to me wanting speed, a smooth draw, light bow, and hopes of a little more forgiveness than the 82nd. So I bought the 101st.

Bottom line. Like everyoneon this forum says, shoot as many as you can. What feels great to you isn't going to be the same for someone else
