Windy days are when knowing your birds can be the difference between success and failure. I'm half deaf from duck hunting, even being young as I am... twenty years worth of triple misses will do that to you. On windy days, I park it. I try and stay out of the wind because its been my experience that turkeys try to stay out of the wind too. If it is dry and sunny, they will usually go out to the fields late morning.
