I feel your pain. It's gonna be less than perfect conditions for the season opener here in Alabama. I just checked my camera...no birds since Sunday. However, I did notice that last Saturday which was even more windy than tomorrow is supposed to be, that birds still come to the fields, later in the morning and earlier in the evening than normal.

My past experience has proven that wind makes it harder, but not impossible. Use a higher pitch call, like a glass pot or loud box.
