Yeah I am not for baiting but with Archery tree stands seem to be the way to go. I almost had one from the ground this past season but couldnt seal the deal.
Now gun season I do a lot of tracking and spot n stalk but it still seems the taking a stand method works best because of other hunters moving the deer
around for you.
One of these years you need to swap hunts and see our methods here in the states as we need to see yours, would be fun.
