Default RE: Allegiance Question for you Bowtech Guys?

Buckeye probably addressed it in his PM... but there was a MAJOR difference between the '06 and the '07 Ally. While it still remains one of the most popular bows for hard-core fans, the model was moved from what we call the "heavy" riser to the Equalizer platform...

Each model year has its fans, and I'm a fan of both. I roomed with our lead designer and head of R&D at the ATA show and spent a good portion of one night attempting to convince him to combine the great attributes of both models into one bow in the future... I'd love to have the "heavy" riser back with the new, thinner grip. Matt Bressler, who shoots Pro class for Bowtech and I were talking about it, and he adamantly concurs as he used the '06 to win Worlds with that year and it still remains one of his favorites.

I'llbe placing another order for an '08 Ally (the only difference from last year to this year is the move from silver cams to black cams) later this spring, as I'm afraid this might be the last year for my beloved Ally and I want to have one to keep just for myself. In its current state with the lighter riser, it's a great Western bow: light and flat-shooting and extremely "packable" as you hike up and down mountains.
