I made some jerky recenty and it said to freeze the meat for at least two months if I remember right. I was using ground from last year so I didn't realy pay attention.

Not sure what they could have. We eat beef that has never been frozen from the store. Injected with all sorts of nasty stuff even to make it look pretty. Never heard to take the stuff home and freeze it. Not sure it could be anything unless there is a worry about the processing. Mine usaly makes it past 2 months before I get to it but I probably have thawed some out before and ate it.
