Some of you may remember back during November I gutshot a nice buck. I exhausted myself for days and came up empty. I promised myself I would find him no matter how long it took. Well, four months later I found my buck.

I've been going "shed hunting" for the past couple months but in all reality I have been going to look for my buck. Today was my lucky day after countless hours of searching. I think I was more excited today than I would have been if I found him four months ago. The feeling was out of this world.

I've had bad dreams and even lost interest in shooting my bow because of this past season and the bad shot on this guy. I had a horrible season; not only because of this incident. This is one step in the right direction. I hate that I did not find him back in November but I do thank God that I did find him.

Heres some pics. I'm undecided if I'm just going to do an euro-mount or find a cape and actually have this guy mounted.
