Like most others, I set the top pin at 20. Seems like I rarely use the other pins. I shot one 2 seasons ago at about 28 yards from a 15' tree stand using the 20 pin and took out his heart. With the speed most of todays bows have and considering most shots are within 30 yards or less on whitetails, 1 pin will get you by. I set at 20 and 30 but can't remember using the 30. I haven't been elk hunting yet but I would definitely be dialing in some more pins for that.
