You really do get what you pay for!

I' d rather have the cheapest Leupold, compared to the most expensive Tasco.

I' ve actually witnessed guys " baking" their Tascos in the oven in an attempt to get rid of the moisture/condensation inside after a opening-day rain storm in PA. I feel integrity and reliabilty is pretty good in the $200 to $300 range, and then after that you pay quite a bit for the quality of the glass.

I' d even buy a fixed power in a better scope, if that was all I could afford.
