I use the Tasco World class scopes and have had no problems with them. I haven' t had the oportunity to compare it to a Nikon or Leupold so what the difference is I couldn' t tell you. I' ve asked and the knowledgeable people here say it' s almost night and day ( my terms not theirs) You should be able to get a world Class for under $ 100.00 (more like $ 79.00 in my area) good luck
