I have a Tasco 3x9 on a ruger 77/50 that has been on there since the year the 77/50 came out and as of last season it still is dead on.Have a Simmons 3x9 on a Rem 742 in 30/06 for I don' t know how many years,it was still on last years season also.Had a nikon on my encore 50 cal last year and the cross hairs broke,so you can get good ones and bad ones in all of them,just depends on how much money you want to spend.
Haven' t owned the Bsa in reg scope but have friends that do and they seem to like them.Use the Bsa red dot on my rem. 870 and love it.
If I was going to spend $200 or more I would go with the top brand names though,more likely to get a good one.(I guess)
