RE: fried or grilled burger??
There is not enough fat in venison to grill and when you use plain venison to make a burger it will always come out dry.
There might be good ways to grill a burger, but I prefer to mix mine 50 / 50 with pork butts. At $2.99 a pound, I have some of the best deer meat in the world!
Plain old venison on the grill - bleech!
