How long after you set them up did you leave? I didn't have any issues with mine until I shot it a bunch.

OK....I've only owned 6 bows. Of those 6......I've had to replace a string loop on ......none of them. This is the fifth one on THIS bow. My Ally had thousands of shots through it. The Switchback....ditto. What's the common denominator? String stop.

If you own one of these bows.....just take what I'm saying with a grain of salt. If you don't......great! No issue (even "potential") for you.

So Dan....you just tie awesome D-loops?
