Absolutely love my Ithaca Model 37 16 gauge. Shot my first deer with my father's 16 gauge Ithaca Deerslayer and had been wanting one of my own for a long time. The 16 throws a little bigger chunk of lead than a 20 gauge without the kick of a 12.Besides, I just love the purple shot shells
