It's not so much that the dog hunting laws need to be changed, it is the right to retrieve law that needs to be changed.No one should be allowed on another persons land without their permission. If you can't obtain that permission than do whatI do and wait for your dog to come back. Now I will say if I can see my dog within 20 or 30 yards Than I have went and got it absolutly knowing that I was not interferring with someones hunt in the process.(Istill should have asked).In just about all cases (unless your dealing with a complete as*0) If you respect the hunting rights and lawsof your fellow hunter he or she will almost always let you do just that unless it becomes a badhabit. lol
