Default RE: Cover Scent Question?

I have used all that stuff (cover scents, carbon clothing, scent eliminating sprays) in the past, and after many observations from the same trees and conditions, I am 100% convinced that they are all a waste of time and resources.

Have I had deer come in downwind and I remained undetected using these products? Absolutely, but I also have had the same experiences under all types of conditions including wearing unwashed clothes and going unbathed for 3 days in a row while hunting out of a dry camp.

For you guys that hunt lots of days within a season and in areas with high deer population, experiment and make your own conclusions. If done with lots of repitition and objectivity, I am betting you will come to same conclusion.

IMO, you can fool young deer fairly often and a mature deer very seldom, regardless of scent control measures.
