You guys have been a great help with my new gun/scope combo. I have greatly appreciated it! The gun is in, a Savage 16bss .270wsm, and I just placed my scope order yesterday.
I chose the Swarovski A-line 3-10x42. Now, a day later, I am having reservations(kind of like the day before a wedding!
). Should I have gone with the 4-12x50? Would it gather that much more light?-I don' t need the 12 power, so that isn' t the concern.
My shots could range from 30 to 50 yards in thick cover, low light, in the UP of Michigan, to 200 yard shots thru the hardwoods in PA, to 200++ yard shots on small farm fields in WI or AL, many times in low light.
I can still change my order. Did I make the right decision??
