Default RE: Doe or buck tracks

A large heavy buck will generally have tracks over 2 3/4 inches long. A big fat old buck may leave a somewhat splayed out track (pointing slightly out) and they tend to drag their feet a little, easier to spot in the snow.
Like another of the posters stated they tend to go around low canopy rather than under it. Because of their weight the dew claws will be more pronounced in the track than a doe.
Stationary does pee behind the track, stationary bucks pee in the middle of their track.
By adding all the clues together you can make an educated guess.
