I shoot XX78' s and love them. It' s really up to you. This debate has been beat to death, and it ultimately comes down to shot placement anyhow, no matter what you choose. As far as the charts go, they are not totally written in stone....but a very good guide where to start. If it says 2219, then yes you " probably" could use a 2216 or 2315, which are lighter but still plenty stiff. It really depends on your setup, draw length, arrow lenght, etc. Good luck
