Your feet each sweat up to a quart of nasty smelling dirt and bacteria filled sweat every day, more if you do any hiking, do you really think those boots can handle that? I just dust the insides of my ordinary hunting boots with baking soda before I go out, and spray the outsides with baking soda/peroxide based scent killer, that's about as "scent free" as a boot will get.
