your worst hunting trip?
Mine: I went to Colorado to bow hunt elk. WE left on a friday of a labor day weekend. We startedout from Wis. in my truck/camper. I started feeling sick before we got out of Minn. The transfer case went out in Lincoln Nebraska. We camped outina parking lot across from a transmission shop until tue. morn. I was puking sick the whole time. The tranny shop wanted $1000 to replace it. Instead we rented a car and got a replacement one from Omaha for $400. We swapped it out in a walmart parking lot!. Then the engine broke 2 valve springs between there and Denver. I tore the engine apart in Colfax. Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of spending time in colfax will understand how nasty that is! One week into the trip and we are finally getting to go hunting. We saw a few elk. We didnt get any shots. It is beautiful country! Some day I hope to try again!
