If you check the article it says it was shot near South Strabane Township, which I have no idea where that is and I grew up in Allegheny County. He had heard of the buck, but never saw it until the day he shot it. The farmer had only seen it maybe once a year during the rut at night.
It was shot with a Hoyt Provantage, Easton Aluminum arrows and a Wasp 4 blade broadhead. It looks like that old stuff still does the job on the big ones too.
