I' d forget the head shots. to small of a target and it moves to often.
shoot for the wing if he' s standin broadside, shoot for the back if he' s facin away not in strut, shoot for the anus if he' s facin away in full strut, the only shot you have if he' s facin you, is goin to hit the breast. so, if your dead against takin that shot, then you' ll have to wait till he turns. myself, I' m gonna take any shot I can get.
as far as passthrough, if you use a wide cuttin broadhead say 1 1/2" to 2 1/2" and turn your poundage down, then the arrow should stay in the turkey, which is what you' d want. good luck!
