That sounds like a very isolated incident and quite frankly, I'd question the validity of the whole story. Bowtech's warranty is one of the industry's leaders and there has to be more to the story.

Perhaps your "outfitter" Hoyt dealer wants to push Hoyt.

I shot on Hoyt's National Shooting staff like many and I don't have anything bad to say about Hoyt. Love them however in 06 when I decided to take a fresh start in the industry I shot as many bows as I could and choose the Bowtech Allegiance over the Hoyt Trykon and couldn't be happier. My buddy bought the Trykon from me after I bought it after the Ally. After shooting my newest Bowtechs he's really wanting to change now too.

Hoyt makes a great bow but man, the Bowtechs are really incredible each year.
