hey yodeldog3 the 22-243 is a wildcat cartridge that someone invented,I was looking at some of the websites on this subject and came across this and many 14,17,and 22caliber wildcats that were way over the 4000fps mark and the 22-243 being the fastest at over 5300fps I bet those barrels dont last long.But it wasn't a millitary cart.
