Hey everyone. I alwyas get good ideas on here so lets see what you all say about this one. I have a Marlin 917V I have a Silver 3x-9x Nikon Buckmasters scope laying around i want to put on it but the gun is blue and wood. Im going to be sending the gun to Aquila to get some work done to it. Should i get it rebarreld with a stainless barrel or just get the work done to it and paint the gun and scopein some kind of camo or buy a new scope that isnt silver? I had a 6x-18x scope on it for target shooting but want to hunt with it so i want the 3x-9x scope on it.
