I have a Ithica #37 that I hunted turkeys with for years. I used the gun sock and it did a good job. Some of the drawbacks for me was the sock had to be cut out for the trigger and the ejection port, and at times it would twist around. It did effect the pump action slightly, I had to work the action hard to make sure it would cycle fully. Also had to be careful if it got wet to make sure to remove it for drying, so my gun would not rust. With all that said it did work pretty well and I used mine for about 7-8 years.
