I don't pick a spot, I go through a process in my head though.
From the bottom of the deer, following the leg up from where it meets the body;
"Three inches up, two inches back, hold, hold, release."
And that is your Spot!

I guess you're right. I thought about it after I posted it... lol
I guess I don't look for a particular
spot on the deer to aim at, I just go through my process and thats where I end up.
