The newer one's are ok,I guess....I fell in love with the black powder cartridge rifles a long time ago
Same problem here. I've got a few "modern" rifles. But for the past few years, it is the blackpowder rifles that get taken to the range.
I shoot flintlocks. Those things get a lot of attention at the range.
Although when I want to shoot fast, the Ruger 10/22 comes out; easy on the shoulder and the wallet.
