Ausie Guy, I order a Tru-Ball Extreme through my archery dealer and Im waiting for it to come in to the shop.
I have been a finger shooter for about forty years. This will be a major change for me. The thing I liked about this style release is the manner in which it is held. It seemed the closest I could get to the feel of my finger and arm to finger shooting if that makes any sense.
Now when I tried it I didn' t have to " trigger" it, just slight use muscle flex. The demo model was set up very light. More for target shooting than hunting as I will be using it. Of course I well not have it that light but, do you know, will I still be able to use muscle tension/flex to trigger the release at a stiffer trigger setting?

And you are right, it is not cheap.
