It's a sign of maturity. I've been using the same PSE Nova for 8 years. Killed I think 28 deer with it. Not the fastest thing in the world, but very easy to shoot.

When I was young I thought I had to have something new all the time. Different stereo, different pickup, yada yada. It seems like when you get a little older the flashy advertising doesn't seem to work anymore.

I read people talking about "falling in love" with a bow. Hey, they are nothing but metal and fiberglass. They are just a tool. Something to perform a task. Not to fall in love with. The bow companies have to constantly make some sort of "improvement" each year to try to get hunters to buy the newest model. That's how they make money. You can't blame them, but it's crazy.
