The most reliable, easiest, cheapest, and accurate rest ever, was the springy. Getting hard to find now but I know a small shop out in the country that still has some. PM me if you want to try one Jeff, they cost about 10.00.
I believe I shot with a guy that won the open B classat an ASA national shoot that was using one of those.Do you have a picture? His bow was an older model that he used for field and for some reason,he had to use it for the 3-d shoot and he won.
Sorry T, I just went through all my pictures and cant find one. It's just a brass bolt that goes through the mounting bracket holewith a coiled spring screwed to the end of it. The endof the coil spring isbent out to the side for the arrow to rest on. Kind of worked like a Burger button, rest, all in one.
