RE: Archery Talk vs HuntingNet?
I like both, definitely a little more laid back over here, but also a little slower paced, part of the reason, I spend the majority of my time there. Admittedly, I'm oft accused of being one of the "Ethics Police" over there, but I don't believe I'm really an "Ethics Policeman" as much as I'm HONEST!!!! If a guy hits a deer poorly, but still recovers it, it's STILL A BAD SHOT, just one that had a LUCKY result. But, there is WAY too much drama and spamming and it's really not run by hunters, it's run by a group of target archers and their friends. It's unfortunate to see a MOD show up in a Bowhunting Forum that has posted maybe a dozen times in the last year and start handing out warnings and suspensions to those who he may "politically" disagree with. Needless to say, I have a bad taste in my mouth over some of the recent changes over there, and have been spendingless time there in the last couple months. For guys looking for equipment, they DO have a GREAT CLASSIFIEDS section. This site is quite a bit smaller, which allows it to be a good bit more personal.
