If I have something on my bow for hunting that I am afraid will not perform, said item is discarded for something that I can prove/and trust. I guess what I am trying to say is, I would want no less on a bow I was shooting for 3D.
The misnomer being......that I'm not 100% trustful in my hunting accessories. I am.
The difference is.....I NEED the full arrow containment on my hunting rig (or, at least....it's a want I have). Also...if something goes awry with my hunting setup....I can get it adjusted in a manner of probably an hour. if something happens when I'm away at a 3D shoot...I want it to be something simple enough that I can take care of it.
Nothing wrong with shooting 3D with your exact hunting rig. I just don't know too many people who do that......that are competitive. I'm betting the guy who shot 216 on the same course I shot 198 on Saturday.....wasn't shooting his hunting rig
