If you know someone with a machine lathe, you can cut an arrow very precisely by spinning the shaft with the lathe while you cut the arrow with a dremel tool. The dremel needs to be mounted in the tool post of the lathe, parallel with the shaft;and you want to use a diamond cut off wafer. Need to clean up the carbon dust afterwards.
