For me it isn' t what can it hurt it is what you have to give up to get it.

I am not a big guy and can' t stand the HARD cams.I like smooth cams and even though I have shot the hard cams,I had to turn the poundage way down to be comfortable with them.Or rotate the cam to make it feel smoother.

I also hate the amount of reflex that is needed to get speed.Anything over 1 1/2" isn' t acceptable for me.Even if the brace is 8" .


Speed is really a relative turm and a lot would call my bow that shoots in the 260' s range for hunting a fast bow,but in todays world that is slow.
